Disney Must-Have Amazon Items

Updated: Nov 4, 2023

If you are reading this, you must have a Disney vacation booked or in the works. How exciting! Disney is one of the most magical vacations, but sadly it can also be one of the most stressful vacations if you are not well-prepared. As a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations and a major Disney lover, I have prepared a list of items to buy before you go. 1. Refillable Water Bottle

Did you know that you can get free ice water from all Disney quick-service locations? Bottled water can cost $5+ in the parks, so bring a refillable water bottle to avoid this cost. I LOVE these water bottles specifically because they keep your drink cold, even in the Florida heat. And, the clip makes life so convenient. I use these clips to attach the water bottle to my backpack or stroller.

2. Rain Ponchos

Rain, Rain, Go Away! Trust me, I hope it does not rain on your magical vacation as well. However, short rain showers are definitely not uncommon in Florida. So, you want to be well-prepared and have rain ponchos on standby. These ponchos are my go to for all of our Disney vacations. Do not wait to buy these on your trip, because it will not near as reasonably priced as these.

On your Disney vacation, you will be using your phone A LOT. You will be using the My Disney Experience App on your phone throughout your park days. You will use this app to check wait times, view maps, get walking directions, place mobile food orders, make Genie + ride selections, and so much more. And, not to mention you are going to want to take photos and videos of your magical trip. Having a portable phone charger is a MUST. I have 2 recommendations for portable phone chargers that I love. FUEL RODS:

These portable chargers are so handy on your trip. Throughout the parks and resorts, there will be kiosiks you can take your dead fuel rod to, and you can exchnage for a fully charged rod at no additonal cost. That’s right, you buy the fuel rod initially and then no other fees or costs. Be sure to buy these on Amazon before your trip. They are $30 for one rod if you want and buy them in the parks. Here you are able to get two for the price of one.

SOLAR POWERED BATTERY PACK:

I am the worlds worst about forgetting to plug in my battery back. So, when it comes time to use it it is dead. I cannot tell you how many times I have been in this situation before finding this solution. I LOVE how easy this solar powered battery pack is. I lay it on top of my stroller or clip to side of my backpack, and it can be charging my device while being charged itself.

4. Souvenirs and Mickey Ears

I personally recommend buying souvenirs before your trip to give to your kiddos while there. The items in the gift shops are overpriced, so this is an easy way to still let you kiddo have souvenirs without breaking the bank. Also, the same with the cute Mickey headband ears everyone will be wearing. If you buy these at Disney, you can expect to pay between $30-$40 per pair. I have found some adorable alternatives for 1/4 the price or less. I will link an Amazon list with my top souvenir and mickey ear recommendations to take with you. You can even have these shipped to your resort if you prefer. Link to Amazon Lists
